Igniting Ministry

A powerful voice within the United Methodist community, we are the "evangelistic advertiser". Presently we are working on an approach to implement the "Rethink Church" campaign. In 2011 we are looking at our yearly events - The Spaghetti Dinner/Variety Show, Night to Unite and the possibility of an Old Fashioned Picnic/Pig Roast and Corn Roast. As an outreach ministry, we can communicate our faith by speaking and listening to persons both within and outside the church throughout the world, to utilize all appropriate means of communication.

Adult Sunday School

This ministry has had a great success drawing 8 - 14 adults every Sunday. Each Sunday is focused on the scripture lessons used during service.

Care Ministry

This ministry is responsible for Care Boxes that are given to chemotherapy patients in the area. The Sunday School classes are able to take part in this ministry by helping to decorate the boxes that are used. From this ministry two others have been created, the Prayer Shawl Ministry has been a great success, to date 99 shawls have been given to people in need of comfort. The Prayer Quilt Ministry has also been very successful as quilts are made and give to people in the area.

Gift of Plenty Dinner

Serving an average of 34 - 40 people every ord Saturday of the month this meal is hosted by Bob and Darr Aschenbach and many volunteers. They are asking that people step forward to host a meal, donate food items, or assist in the areas of preparation, serving and clean - up. Many outside community groups have come to the meals to help in the previous areas mentioned.
